About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our team, focusing on eCommerce initiatives. In this role, you will be at the forefront of managing complex projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving successful outcomes. This is a hybrid position, offering a blend of remote and on-site work at our Wadsworth, Ohio location.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Management: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Quality Assurance Collaboration: Work closely with QA teams to ensure rigorous testing and validation of all deliverables.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Partner with the Software Development Director and CTO on strategic project initiatives and roadmaps.
- Change & Risk Management:
- Manage the Change Control process to assess and document any project adjustments.
- Proactively identify risks related to project scope, budget, and timeline; escalate as necessary to key stakeholders including the CTO and CFO.
- JIRA Management: Oversee project tracking using our JIRA platform, leveraging KPIs to ensure accountability and adherence to deadlines.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Lead the formal UAT phase, ensuring all development efforts meet predefined criteria before launch.
- Escalation Path: Define and implement escalation paths for risks, delays, or scope changes in conjunction with the CTO.
What You Bring to the Table
- Proven Project Management Experience: You have a track record of successfully managing eCommerce or software development projects.
- Quality Assurance Background: Experience collaborating with QA teams and a strong understanding of QA processes.
- Leadership & Communication Skills: You excel in guiding cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and communicating project progress.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: You’re skilled in identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies, especially in fast-paced environments.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with project management tools like JIRA and an understanding of software development lifecycles.
